About Lochaber

The district of Lochaber in the West Highlands of Scotland,
which is the subject of so much of Jim Stewart's photographic work,
contains some of the finest scenery in Western Europe, including:

> Loch Linnhe, Loch Leven, Loch Lochy, Loch Arkaig, Loch Etive
> Glencoe, Ballachulish, Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount

> Mallaig, Morar and Arisaig
> Westerly peninsulas of Ardnamurchan and Knoydart
> The Small Isles of Eigg, Rum, Muck and Canna
> and it's but a short hop over the sea to Skye
